I have taught preschool, Head Start, and kindergarten. After I retired in 2001, I was hired as a mentor for new early childhool teachers in Des Moines. John and I have six grandchildren,five boys and one girl. Fortunately, they all live nearby so we are able to see them often.
2014 - I am fully retired from teaching and mentoring new teachers for the Des Moines Public Schools. John and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in April. All three of our 3 children live in the area so we keep busy folllowing our grandchildren's activities (5 boys and 1 girl). We spend our winters in Chandler AZ.
