Larry is retired Army veterinarian after 28 years and Joyce is retired educator and retired manager of training administration at JD Edwards (now Oracle). Since retiring in 2003 we have been traveling (Antarctica, Africa (3 times), Europe, Tahiti, Hawaii, Caribbean, Patagonia, Galapagos, British Columbia and Canadian Rockies, China and Tibet, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, India.)

In 2016 we traveled to India with National Geographic to see the Taj Mahal which included a 5 day train trip. In the fall we took a Micato Grand Safari to Africa which was wonderful.

2017 we traveled to Hilton Head, took a cruise from Montreal to New York, and a 26 day cruise from Venice to Miami.

In 2018 we traveled to Hilton Head again and in the fall spent 2 weeks in Hawaii.

2019 we took an Oceania trip from Papette, Tahiti, to New York, 33 days.

In 2020 we are going again to Hilton Head and back to Hawaii for 2 weeks, attending our 2 granddaughters high school graduations, a trip with 8 couples on a small cruise of the Great Lakes and in September we are taking a 26 day Oceania cruise from Stockholm to Barcelona.

We live in a Adult Country Club community and play golf, bridge, Mah Jongg, poker, walking groups, breakfast groups, etc.
